Even if you're staunchly against the practice of companies continually re-packing and reselling old games, you can't deny that taken as a bundle, the 32 titles in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium represent a solid per-game bargain.

Between Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium and its predecessor, you’ve got nearly all of Capcom’s most celebrated titles across two epic volumes, both featuring plenty of long-lost rarities too. Sure, a lot of these titles are present in other collections, and you’re basically going to be playing local couch multiplayer, but if you’re after some of the best gaming experiences from the ’90s, then you simply cannot go wrong here. Besides, even the full price of admission is far less than what you would pay for a SEGA Saturn copy of Three Wonders.

As long as you’re okay with its unreasonable lack of online functionality and screen filter niggles, there are hundreds of hours of fun to be had with Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. 32 mostly excellent games and another historically notable preservation piece, it recalls the essence of what an arcade felt like. Achieving that feeling, however brief, will be enough to justify a purchase for those with an affinity for gaming’s rich history.

Ultimately, Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is a truly delightful compilation, able to make anyone (re) experience one of the most hilarious eras in videogame history, all with a setting that oozes old school passion from every pore, between lights in the neon, chiptune and customizable cabinets. A must-have for lovers of the classics of the past. A compilation of Capcom arcade classics that will delight retrogaming fans and capable of touching the right strings of nostalgia. Too bad only for the absence of an online multiplayer mode.

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is one of the best official arcade compilations. Not only does it boast a fantastic list of games, actually one better than the other, but it emulates them to perfection.

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium once again brings together 32 of Capcom's best titles in one essential pack. It allows you to feel the nostalgia of the arcades, although it is not surprising at this point and it continues to have the same highlights and failures as its predecessor.

Arcade 2nd Stadium doesn’t feel as necessary as its predecessor, where buying all of its 32 games gave you an astounding compilation, possibly the greatest-ever arcade collection of all time.

The first Capcom Arcade collection had a ton of great games and although some were repeated, most were original.

The 2nd Stadium is really bad value for Capcoms loyal customers who have already bought the Beat em up bundle, Fighting Collection and 30th Anniversary Collection as only half the games are new. While you can buy the few games you are missing on their own, the price is double the separate purchase price of the first stadium games meaning that you could quickly spend more than the price of the whole pack leaving owners of other collections with no reasonable option.

If you don't already own any of the games already on switch and are buying the full pack, then you can double my score but, this one is still no where near as good as the first.

Capcom should have offered some sort of discount to owners of previous collections.
